Watch Yohan Cabaye’s cracker last night

The half-time substitute was quick making amends from his summer time Arsenal flirting with this rocket against Everton last night.

The Frenchman replaced his compatriot Hatem Ben Arfa at the break, with Newcastle 3-0 down to a hugely impressive Everton performance, and moments later buried this right-footed effort past the helpless Tim Howard to make it 3-1.

A late rally from Loic Remy made it 3-2, but it wasn’t enough and Everton saw out the win, putting them in fourth place. Newcastle remain in 16th – three points from the drop zone.
