Blackpool and England under 21 star Thomas Ince is the latest Warrior poster boy and has helped the US company launch their latest boot, Gambler.
The new boot officially launches on July 1 and, according to Warrior, has been “designed for unparalleled control and distribution”.
Amongst its features are a specially crafted Ace Plate on the boot’s instep which equips players with the means to outplay the opposition by dealing killer passes, and a High Roller rotator zone that adds to the Gambler Pro’s tactical weaponry, allowing for balls and rules to be bent with deadly accuracy
The embossed Outsider zone located on the boot’s outer tip ensures quick draw precision.
A striking checkerboard Tech Mesh outer is lightweight yet hardwearing and increases on-pitch visibility, covering a welded Safe House foot cage to provide ultimate form and protection.
A no-stitch Royal Flush inner enables a seamless fit and all-game comfort, while the Lay-Off offset lacing system amplifies the Gambler Pro’s fit and feel.
The Gambler Pro is configured in two sole plate options: a Full House hybrid stud and blade outsole for mixed ground acceleration, and a Loaded Deck 17 blade outsole for firm ground comfort.
Ince notched 18 goals and 15 assists in 47 appearances for Blackpool, and was recognised with five awards for his club as well as the Football League Player of the Year title.
He also made it into the 2012/13 PFA Championship Team of the Year.
The 21-year-old joins Premier League stars Vincent Kompany, Marouane Fellaini and Jonas Gutierrez in the Warrior family.
“I chose Warrior because it’s a brand that does things differently and matches my ambition. I like that it’s bold and the people behind it aren’t afraid to take risks,” he said.
“I’ve been testing and playing in Gambler for a couple of months now and love it; the boot is lightweight, comfortable and gives me a feeling of complete control when I’m wearing it.”
