Carragher in particular was, as you would expect, extremely passionate about the situation and went as far as to question Sterling’s performances this season when it came to the crunch in the FA Cup and Champions League.
The 20-year-old has reportedly been unhappy with how Liverpool have been treating him, and is pushing for a transfer with two years still remaining on his contract at Anfield.
