Three players from Europe’s top leagues that could be playing in the Premier League next season

The summer transfer window doesn’t officially open until July 1 but there have already been a number of transfers agreed.

News is rife this time of year regarding transfer rumours and 2017 is no different.

What positions does your club need to fill this season and which superstar do you want your side to add before the start of 2017-18?

Here’s a look at three top players who could end up in the Premier League in the coming weeks.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu

The Turkish international has previously been linked with a move to Premier League champions Chelsea, but now Arsenal have entered the fray.

Tribal Football claim that the Gunners have made an enquiry for the Bayer 04 Leverkusen midfielder who was suspended the second half of this past season.

Çalhanoğlu’s natural position is on the left wing which will only add to speculation that Alexis Sánchez is on his way out this summer.

The 23-year-old has been highly-rated for years, largely due to his stunning long-range goals. He has chipped in with a fair number of goals and assists each season in the Bundesliga.

You can always find good odds on him scoring at a live betting site in Turkey.

Naby Keita

After back-to-back Austrian Bundesliga title successes, Red Bull Salzburg transferred Naby Keita to RB Leipzig at the start of this past season and the Guinean holding midfielder was hugely instrumental in the team finishing runners-up to Bayern Munich in their top flight debut.

Keita has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer and there is perhaps no surprise as to why Jürgen Klopp is interested in his services – the Reds need someone to protect that leaky back four.

The 22-year-old goes box-to-box, and is strong in the tackle to protect his back four. He even chipped in with a very impressive eight goals and seven assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances in 2016-17.

Ivan Perišić

The Croatian international was linked with a move away from Internazionale in the early stages of this past season and Manchester United have since been linked with a move for the forward.

The 28-year-old is an intelligent player who gets in great goalscoring positions – chipping in with 11 goals and eight assists in his 36 Serie A appearances.

However, the Italian giants are so far pricing United out of a deal for Ivan Perišić, so it will be interesting to see if Inter lower their demands during the summer transfer window or whether the Red Devils can use a fringe player like Anthony Martial on loan to sweeten the deal.
