So it’s the penultimate weekend of the Premier League season and the title is still up for grabs. As the season draws to a close, predictions become astronomically difficult but this weekend I have included a special accumulator gamble at 25/1.
Liverpool v Chelsea
On Sunday Chelsea travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in a game that will probably decide the title. If Chelsea win and Manchester United lose, the Blues will be crowned champions this weekend.
After Liverpool’s Europa League heartache and extra time on Thursday, Chelsea will be the more confident and rested side by a long way.
Couple with that, their outstanding form in recent weeks and this looks like a surefire Chelsea win.
The biggest question is whether Liverpool will score. Given the absence of Fernando Torres and now, back up striker David Ngog, Liverpool are lacking firepower up front and will rely on Dirk Kuyt to provide a breakthrough. He is 15/2 to score first which is good value. But I am not confident that Liverpool will score at all.
I think Chelsea will be too strong on the day and will win the game. Odds of 17/2 for Chelsea to win 2-0 is good value but a cheeky punt on 3-0 returns odds of 16/1, If you fancy liverpool to score, a victories of 2-1 and 3-1 to Chelsea are represented by odds of 8/1 and 14/1 respectively.
My bet:
Chelsea to win 2-0 (@ 17/2)
Tottenham V Bolton
Tottenham’s push for the final Champions League place has been nothing short of impressive, but they are yet to secure it and the fight between them, Manchester City and Aston Villa is destined to go to the wire.
Spurs beat Bolton 4-0 at White Hart Lane in the FA Cup in February, and this weekend a repeat of that result returns odds of 11/1.
I fancy Spurs to win this one comfortably and a punt on a 4-0 is good value. Equally, a 3-0 Spurs win returns good odds of 7/1 and a 3-1 victory 10/1.
My bet:
Tottenham to win 3-1 (@ 10/1)
Special Accumulator:
This week I have put together all my predicted results in a special accumulator bet. All you have to do is select the teams marked in bold to win, and put them into an accumulator bet. If you get all the results right you will win some money.
Birmingham V Burnley
Portsmouth V Wolves
Tottenham V Bolton
Sunderland V Manchester United
Fulham V West Ham
(Combined odds 25/1)
Good luck to anyone having a punt!
All are good tips. In fact, I’m surprised at how good the odds are going for a Chelsea 2-0, I can’t see past a Chelsea win in that one.
That’s a nice accumulator, would expect each team to win but my doubts would be placed on Wolves, isn’t it the last gmae of the season at Fratton Park? Possibly the final time it will ever see a Premier League game, so they might be up for it.
it is really a great tips.i am an avid fan of both liverpool and chelsea.whoever wins…they desrved it.good luck to both teams they are all best team.
