The Republic of Ireland’s EURO 2016 campaign came to an end against hosts France but for an hour we believed that the impossible could happen after Robbie Brady converted an early penalty.

Tired legs and a gap in quality kicked in around the hour mark though, and the lads discuss what might have been had circumstances been a little different.

There’s opinion on how successful the tournament actually was and what it means for the future, before attention turns to England following their shambolic showing against Iceland.

The podcast finishes off with a look ahead to the four quarter final games, the first of which takes place later today.
