We now know the two sides that will contest the final at European Championships, with Portugal out to make amends for their surprise defeat to Greece on home soil in 2004.
The French, however, are firm favourites to reclaim the trophy that they last won in 2000 having seen off reigning World Cup champions Germany in the final four.
