Nagbe, Miller light up MLS weekend

Darlington Nagbe and Kenny Miller each scored a sensational goal to help their respective sides to three points in Major League Soccer overnight.

Nagbe’s clever turn and finish into the far corner of the net proved to be the only goal of the game as his in form Portland Timbers side saw off FC Dallas at Jeld-Wen Field.

The Liberian born 23 year old has been a mainstay in the Timbers side since being taken second overall in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and it isn’t the first time he has shown his class in front of goal.

Meanwhile, in Canada, former Rangers and Wolves man Kenny Miller proved the inspiration for the Vancouver Whitecaps as they came from 2-0 down to beat the ten-man New England Revolution 4-3.

The stunning strike below was Miller’s second of the game after he had tied things up at two goals apiece just before half time.
