Manchester City star Carlos Tevez was again the main man for Ruining Football in what was an excellent gameweek of Fantasy Football.
Manchester City’s demolition of Burnley last weekend meant Tevez and his team mate Adam Johnson contributed 38 points between them out of the 84 points score.
Johnson bagged three assists as he continues to prove to be a post-Christmas bargain, while Argentine striker Tevez has now scored 22 goals in his last 20 games.
This week’s only change sees Mikel Arteta exit the squad following yet another injury blow, and he is replaced by the very much in form Florent Malouda of Chelsea.
With Joe Hart unavailable for Birmingham City’s game at Manchester City, Thomas Sorensen retains the number 1 shirt by default.
The Dane was in good form last week however as his side kept a clean sheet.
Also contributing well at the back were James Collins of Aston Vila (8 points), his team mate Carlos Cuellar (6 points), and Everton’s Leighton Baines (4 points), though Patrice Evra only scored a single point.
Stoke’s Matthew Etherington also bagged an assist as well as two bonus points to bring in nine points altogether, and Jamie O’Hara chipped in five points.
Fernando Torres will hopefully pick his game up this week having performed well in Europe on Thursday night and there is serious potential for goals up front with both Tevez and captain Didier Drogba playing at home.
Chelsea face Bolton at Stamford Bridge in a game that has the potential to be a blowout, and hopefully both Drogba and Malouda will be heavily involved.
The team currently sits in 33,644th place out of a total of 2,303,891 teams.
Team for Gameweek 34 –
Carlos is a king. What a doubt in it? I am a great fan of him.
Yeah. He is my favorite too. His shots are really amazing. Good post.
