La Liga expert and Manchester United fan Joseph Sexton joins the podcast regulars this week and is the perfect man to give his thoughts on the controversial clash between Liverpool and Manchester United on Sunday. There’s analysis of that game as well as a look at Manchester City/Arsenal, Chelsea’s narrow win over the Stoke and the other action from the Premier League.

The rest of the show has a Spanish feel to it with discussion turning to La Liga as well as the Champions League which got underway last week. The lads discuss the form of Real Madrid and we find out who could be in for good and bad seasons this time round.

To round off there’s some feel good news following BackPageFootball’s three nominations for this year’s Irish Web Awards. It’s safe to say we’re delighted to be included in the categories of Best Sports Site, Best Web Only Publication and Most Beautiful Site in Ireland. As the event’s official hash tag says, #webawardsfuckyeah!
