Hold the BackPage – Man Down by bpfootball

There’s a different feel to Hold the BackPage this week as Neil takes the hot seat in the absence of Tom with Ger and Will sharing their thoughts on all the recent hot topics. In the wake of Chelsea’s weekend defeat to Manchester United, the lads look at the future for the Stamford Bridge outfit and the prospect of a summer clearout.

Part 2 starts with a debate about two players who are proven match winners on their day but come with plenty of baggage – Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo. Also up for discussion is the assault of Neil Lennon during Celtic’s clash with Hearts last night, as well as the upcoming Championship playoffs.

The show rounds up as always with a Premier League review as Neil gloats about Manchester City’s place in the Champions League ahead of Ger’s Tottenham Hotspur, while pod favourite Mario Balotelli has been up to his old tricks ahead of the weekend’s FA Cup Final.
