There’s plenty to sift through this week following some big results at both ends of the Premier League table as the two Manchester clubs claimed maximum points once again. Despite City’s convincing win over Blackburn, Willie tries to move the focus to Rovers and their problems but is quickly put in his place, while Ger gets to express his delight and Spurs claiming the first North London derby of the season. The lads also run the rule over Owen Coyle and his Bolton troubles also before looking at potential ground moves for two of the league’s big sides.
In part two the League of Ireland run in makes for interesting chat with Sligo Rovers the surprise leaders of the Premier Division and Cork City and Shelbourne vying for the First Division title. There’s concern for the future of Bohemians to round off the segment before the focus turns to Peamount United and their Champions League game this week. Neil gets to put forward his A-League sales pitch which sparks mild interest in Ger and Willie before a tale from Germany about public displays of affection is the perfect note on which to wrap up.
