Hold the BackPage – Hatchet Men

Man flu has hit BPF in its usual unforgiving way but the show must go on as they say and there’s far too much football to get through this week. The lads start by discussing Shamrock Rovers’ gutsy Europa League performance away to Spurs while Willie brings us news of another Irish side competing in Europe this week – Peamount United Ladies. There’s a look at Manchester United’s suspect back four following their collapse against Basel before attention turns to the biggest story of the week, the Carlos Tevez fiasco.

In the second half of the show there’s a look back at last week’s Premier League action and Neil poses questions to Ger and Willie about the progress made by Stoke City and the struggles of Bolton Wanderers. There’s a look ahead to the North London and Merseyside derbies before things get a touch controversial when Titus Bramble’s run in with the law gets brought up, however things end on a lighter note with an interesting discussion on men’s underwear.
