The first segment of this week’s podcast is unsurprisingly dominated by talk around Ireland’s performance against Germany on Tuesday night. The lads discuss the drama of John O’Shea’s late equaliser and assess the performance as a whole amid some criticism from RTE pundits.
There’s also praise for some of the other countries whose campaigns have started well, including Northern Ireland and Wales, before the Serbia and Albania abandonment and a busy week for Roy Hodgson also come under scrutiny.
The Premier League returns after the international break and there’s a look ahead to the big game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as some of the other talking points that may pop up over the rest of the weekend.
