The lads are back for another week and kick off by weighing up the pros and cons from Ireland’s late win over Georgia in their opening qualifier for the European Championships. The manager’s apparent sensitivity to the media comes up for discussion, as do the roles of Aiden McGeady and Robbie Keane in the team going forward.

There’s also a look at England’s strong showing away to Switzerland, Scotland’s battling performance in their defeat to Germany, and Wales’ great escape to save themselves from embarrassment against Andorra.

The Premier League returns this weekend with Manchester City’s trip to Arsenal the pick of the fixtures. Manchester United fans will be keen to see their new signings in action for the first time, while Crystal Palace and Burnley face off with three valuable points on the line early in the season.
