The pod kicks off with a look at the fortunes of the English sides in the Champions League as both Chelsea and Arsenal confirmed their spots in the last 16. Things aren’t so clear cut for Liverpool and Manchester City who have plenty of work to do in their final groups games. Sergio Aguero lit up the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night, but just how good is the Argentine?

Aguero’s countryman Lionel Messi is now the competition’s record goalscorer which prompts a discussion about whether he is the best player the lads have seen.

John Delaney has been in the headlines yet again, leading to much debate over his role as the Football Association of Ireland’s Chief Executive. Is he right to feel aggrieved at the attention he has received for singing rebel songs in a pub, or has he brought things on himself with he celebrity lifestyle?

To round off there’s a look ahead to the weekend’s Premier League games as Burnley look to continue their resurgence against Aston Villa and Manchester United take on Hull City at home, buoyed by last Saturday’s smash and grab win at the Emirates Stadium.
