There were no goals between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in Thursday night’s friendly at the Aviva Stadium.
It was another disappointing showing from Martin O’Neill’s side who have now failed to score a goal in three consecutive outings.
Northern Ireland, meanwhile, enjoyed most of the possession and could have walked away with a win were it not for some superb goalkeeping from Darren Randolph.
Indeed, Randolph was voted the official Man of the Match for his efforts as the Republic failed to create anything in the way of clear cut opportunities.
A crowd of 31,241 made the effort to attend the contest, though many of them did so having been given free tickets.
The only talking point of note came off the field as God Save The Queen was booed by the crowd when played ahead of kick off.
