It was a disappointing night for the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday as they went down 1-0 to Serbia in a World Cup qualifier.
As always, Alwyn Robinson was at the Aviva Stadium for Back Page Football and he got some fantastic snaps of the action.
Roma defender Aleksandar Kolarov got the only goal of the game in the second half, slamming a ferocious strike past Ireland goalkeeper Darren Randolph.
The defeat, coupled with Saturday’s draw in Georgia, gives Martin O’Neill’s side a mountain to climb as they look to qualify for the World Cup from a very competitive Group D.
