Xavi with probably the best first touch ever

by Up Front

Barcelona beat Real Madrid last night in part one of this season’s el Clasico series. In the midst of it all, Xavi stole the showboating show with this absolutely gorgeous first touch.

He backheels it out of the air and forwards it into his path, before knocking it onto Lionel Messi. Different class.

Barcelona won 2-1 with a late winner from Alexis Sanchez. One of the conversations emerging from the game is the position of Gareth Bale, who proved quite ineffective in his firm big game since joining from Tottenham for £80million.
