I just hate the idea of having this competition. Yes I know it might have good matches and good clubs every now and then, but still just ask yourself this question. What does a team need to do to win it? Besides Leichnestein, the answer is first you need to lose and then you need to win. I hate the fact that you need to screw up to get a chance for glory, and while those in the champions league have achieved more, will not have that chance of glory if they lose in a UCL semi-final for example. Then what's more bizzare is those Europa league teams who have underachieved, will also have a chance to win another cup! which is the UEFA supercup, absolutely garbage.

I have a few problems with the Europa League.

The competition is marred by parachuting in teams that have been knocked out of the Champions League. If you weren't good enough for the Champions League, come back next year!

There also seem to be way too many games so it stretches the squad of teams like Liverpool who don't have an in-depth squad like Champions League teams.

I was a bigger fan of the old UEFA Cup, which was a proper competition. Home and away legs with a straight knockout and no league. I'd love to see that format again.
