I completely disagree with what Voller said about La Liga being more attractive and better to watch than the Premier League. I can't speak for the Bundesliga in that matter, as I don't watch it enough, but whenever I watch La Liga it's slow and I just can't get into it. So many dives, fouls given for the tiniest pushes because players throw themselves to the floor and referees don't realise what's going on. Whereas the Premier League is fast-paced, exciting and unpredictable. I also think Serie A is much more exciting than La Liga. I suppose it's down to your opinion, but I still can't see how as a complete neutral, you'd rather watch La Liga than the Premier League in a similar type of game.

I would rate the Bundesliga very highly with regards to European Football. It is the best supported league in the world in terms of fans attending games (attendances far superior than Italy) which derives from a very effective system of terracing and low-cost ticket options. Schalke have proved this season that not only Bayern can perform on a European scale, which shows a growing strength in the league.

With regards to entertainment it is a very exciting league to watch, perhaps not as exciting as La Liga or the Premier League but defiantly not a million miles away. While it is difficult to rate and compare leagues, I think that those who watch German football regularly will agree it is greatly improving, and deserves its status as what I believe is the 3rd best league in Europe.

I think Magath has a great point.
We have 4 internationals abroad, two in each Spain and England. Merkel's not looking too bad either.
It's not that playing in England or Spain is important in measuring a footballing level, but in terms of exposure to a worldwide fanbase, for our international players, is no where near the level of England and Spain. There are also more people that speak english and spainish than there are german, so naturally you will have people drawn at first to those leagues.
Also the no titles for a while in the bundesliga or internationally- not as much bandwagon appeal.

While I love the unpredictability of the Bundesliga the league needs a lot more stability in teams finishing consistently. As it stands this recent Dortmund team has no experience in the Champions League, Leverkusen aren't going to get far, neither are Hannover. Bayern being the only German team getting far in the CL is not good enough since they're practically carrying the league.

Hopefully by the time there are 4 Champions League spots there will be some sort of hierarchy in the league and we can manage to send out teams capable of actually winning the Champions or Europa leagues. I would still consider Italy to be in a stronger position now and hopefully if Bundesliga teams are able to win we can see more talent joining the Bundesliga.

The atmospheres are just as amazing as any of the other big leagues, people just need to see it. Broadcasting needs to pick up, there's no one showing games in North America and very few showing it in the rest of Europe.

Stupid analysis, it doesn't take into account that a "league" means more than just the big teams. Come back and analyse to lower ranked teams in the top leagues

Hard fast with technique.

Its good to watch i must say.
and Uefa what ever you may say about the organization, its Club Co-efficient system is actually good at judging Leagues.
