With Kenny Dalglish at the helm and further investment in the summer to bulk out the squad a bit, I’m sure that Liverpool will be a back in the mix and in the top four.

He’s made a difference, but in fairness you should note that with the table so tightly packed, a team can go from 15th to 6th with just a few results, and also that Liverpool have gone out of two cups under Kenny.

Just re-read the article and I didn’t say we were in the relegation zone when Hodgson was sacked. I said that when we were in the relegation zone every LFC fan wanted him gone, and then I started a new paragraph talking about when he was sacked.

Granted I didn’t say what position in the table he left the team in but I didn’t say we were in the relegation zone on January 8th.

2) It’s just a phrase meaning that defeat is not acceptable.

I’m not saying that I’d be disappointed if we finished 2nd. 6th would normally be a failure in every LFC fan’s book but after the events of this season I think most will settle for that and hope we can push on next season.
