Weekend Betting Tips

by Bet Adviser

The Bet Adviser has finished November with nine correct selections out of nineteen bets. This represents a small level stakes loss of - 1.01 (- 5.32%).  However, December is a new month and we are confident about making it a profitable one. There are some interesting betting propositions ahead of us this weekend so lets get started….

West Ham v Chelsea

There has been somewhat of an overreaction to the shortcomings of Chelsea in recent times. I read that Rafa Benitez is about to become the shortest serving manager in Chelsea’s history if they don’t win on Saturday. This is despite Chelsea keeping two clean sheets in a row and Benitez  barely getting a chance to introduce himself. I am not having it for one second. As far as I am concerned, if you get your defence in shape, you are halfway to getting your entire team in order. Chelsea have the attacking talent to threaten any of the best teams around and they will begin to show just what they can do today against the Hammers who have totted just 4 points from a possible 18 in their last 6 games. Of course, the ‘crisis’ at Chelsea has meant that we can get a decent price on the Blues to win and I will be backing them to do just that. Remember to look out for betting value that can arise in situations such as this where there is an overreaction to a very small problem.

Bet Recommendation: Chelsea to win @ Evens with Setantabet

Reading v Manchester United

United have the best away record in the Premier League this season and they look like a good bet to notch another win against a very poor Reading side who already look destined for the drop this season. The thing about the Red Devils is that they can only improve on their recent performances which have been below the level expected. The Royals have allowed an average of 16.92 shots on their goal so far this season – more than any other team. With the potency of Van Persie at United’s disposal it is difficult to imagine United not netting at least a couple of goals. The Red Devils have the second highest rate of converted goals per shots on target with 27.73% of their shots finding the net. When you combine the stats I have just given you, they make very dim reading for Reading. No pun intended.

Bet Recommendation: Man United to win (-1) @ 21/20 with Setantabet

Cardiff v Sheffield Wednesday

Cardiff lead the way in the Championship this season having scored more goals than anyone else. They host a Wednesday side who have lost their last five matches in a row, scoring just two goals in the process. Dave Jones’ Owls are second from bottom and have the worst away record in the league. On the other hand Malkay McKay’s men have won all nine of their home matches so far. There is every chance they will continue that impressive run on Sunday.

Bet Recommendation: Cardiff to win @ 4/7 with Setantabet
