Portugal are into the EURO 2016 Final after goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Nani helped them to a 2-0 win over Wales.
After a scoreless first half, Ronaldo rose highest in the penalty area to open the scoring in the 50th minute, before Nani doubled the lead shortly afterwards.
Ronaldo also had a role in the second goal, albeit a fortuitous one, as his scuffed shot was turned past Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessy by Nani.
Despite having less possession than the Welsh, Portugal fashioned twice as many attempts on goal and were good value for their win.
The suspensions of Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davies hit Wales hard, though Portugal weren’t at full strength either with key defender Pepe sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Fernando Santos’ side will now face the winner of the France and Germany game in Sunday’s showpiece contest.
