Video: The goal that saw Celtic lose to part-timers in Gibraltar

The Brendan Rodgers era at Celtic has gotten off to a terrible start as his new side slumped to a 1-0 defeat against Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar.

A single goal from policeman Lee Casciaro gave the Red Imps a shock win in the first leg of their Champions League second qualifying round tie on Tuesday night.

Despite dominating possession, Celtic couldn’t find the net and were punished three minutes after half time when Casciaro struck.

Afterwards, Rodgers was adamant that the loss wasn’t embarrassing, despite the fact that the opposition also included a taxi driver and a fireman in their line up.
