The one I was reading was Matt Law. He just came across as being very red and white. Seemed certain that Theo would be in the squad etc something which surprises me seeing as statistically he had a very average season for Arsenal and did little to impress in the friendlies either. Could've tweeted a bit more about the Tottenham players that did make the squad seeing as he's meant to be covering all of London.

I'm not a user of Twitter but found myself on Phil McNulty's page after following a link on the BBC website. I decided to look at who he was following and I stumbled across a journalist whose tweets were all overly biased towards Arsenal. He described his job as something along the lines of 'football reporter of London clubs' but I still felt that his obvious favouritism towards Arsenal knocked his credibility as a journalist slightly.

Phil McNulty, chief online football writer for the BBC, just replied to a question I posed on Twitter.

Saw Oliver Kay from the Times responding to a question about who he thought would win the competition earlier too (Brazil).

Maybe I was a bit unfair about lack of engagement.

haha, cheers.

What does everyone think? Do journalists need to be more original in their use of Twitter? Do they need to engage more?
