Given long been touted as the best keeper in Britain. This is down to consistent performances over a prolonged period at different clubs, and for his country. To call him overrated when he has kept his side in games countless times is a fraction harsh.

Except it’s omission, not emission (Walcott).

I’d perhaps have Lampard in there and until recently Balotelli too. But he’s turned my opinion, fair play to the lad.

What about 6ft 3ins Pepe Reina? Hardly an example of a small keeper.

Great aritcle. Agree with most of them – especially Gareth Bale who somehow managed to win Player of the Year (whereas Nani – 9 goals 18 assists in the league – wasn’t even shortlisted)!
