Tim Cahill scores fastest goal in MLS history

Former Everton man Tim Cahill has claimed the record for the fastest goal in Major League Soccer history with a stunning effort for the New York Red Bulls against the Houston Dynamo.

It took Cahill just seven seconds to volley home, beating the previous best of 11 seconds set by Dwayne De Rosario in 2003.
