I hope I can give you a Brazilian perspective on Love&#039;s strangely ondulating career.

It is likely that the player himself has had scarce little control over his own destiny ever since being taken on by his present agent (and effective owner). Even when in Brazil, it was the agent who would call the shots, decide where and when Love would play and what was the ideal destination for him were he ever to receive offers from abroad.

As it stands, Love seems happy to spend 6 months in Russia earning a lot of money plus the chance of playing in the Champions League, and this is all the more bearable because of these half-year loan deals with Palmeiras and Flamengo (twice).

Perhaps it is unfair to cite a lack of ambition in his part to make it in European football. For instace, I&#039;m sure he&#039;d love to play for some mid-table outfit n the Spanish league, but he doesn&#039;t have the say over where he can expect to exercise his profes]]></description>
