It is accepted that in the summer Stekelenburg, Vertonghen and van der Wiel will leave. I don’t believe Siem de Jong will leave though.

Concerning quick-fix transfers, Ajax wanted to get Bas Dost and Dries Mertens in to replace Suarez and Emanuelson but did not want to pay the extraordinary amounts asked. Ajax have been known for quick-fix transfers actually. They signed Albert Luque to replace Wesley Sneijder when he went to Real Madrid and that ended up a mess.
