So another magical day in the Premier League! Blackpool and Birmingham join West Ham in the Championship.

Sky Sports Survival Sunday certainly lived up to it's billing, although their coverage of the Trophy Presentation and speeches was fairly poor. Admittedly they need to provide equal coverage of the biggest stories of the day, but to cut to adverts at moments of celebration will not have gone down too well. Can't help but feel a certain Mr Keys and Gray would have been better suited than today's anchor Ed Chamberlain.

Only 83 days until we do it all again and what a season we could have in store!

I have said it before - Blackpool are entertaining to watch, whether they are getting thumped, letting a 2 goal lead slip or beating Bolton 4-3, best game this season btw. With most teams playing boring football in order to stay up (Birmingham, Blackburn, to an extent Stoke) it is 100% aq breath of fresh air to see a shit team attack and attempt to win every game. Yes, it has probably meant they will go down and yes, Stoke and cowill have the last laugh but if its entertainment you want then the club as a whole have been brialliant.

Neil - how dull would it be if teams didnt come up and fluke a good season, but instead the three shittest teams predictably went down again each season.... it IS romantic..... in my opinion of course.

Heavily biased and romantic Blackpool-loving article coming your way on Monday BPFootball!!

That's it in a nutshell - he's essentially become a parody of himself. Also, I don't buy into the romance of these small clubs coming up and fluking a good season.

Plus having Holloway and Colin Warnock in the Premier League next season would drive me to alcoholism.

Looks like you share the same desire as me. Don't really have anything against the club, apart from the constant tagline of "they've been a breathe of fresh air." It is Ian Holloway I am not too keen on, his attitude is poor and the way he repeatedly drones on about his "lads" and how Blackpool only have limited resources.

Most weeks his press conferences consist of criticising the FA, Premier League and the 'big clubs', far too temperamental!

I think Wigan may just escape relegation, albeit they have a tough away trip to an unforgiving Britannia Stadium but Stoke look completely drained after their FA Cup campaign. With N’Zogbia on form they could pull of a result and with Blackpool expected to pick up nothing at Old Trafford they should have a chance.

Wolves vs Blackburn result will be influenced by the score-lines elsewhere, if both teams are suddenly become aware that a draw would see the pair stay up then they may be tempted to just play out the game with no concerns.

As for Birmingham well, barring Blackpool’s game they undoubtedly have the hardest task with Spurs (somewhat begrudgingly) still chasing Europa League football.

I think, like you, Blackpool are a cert for the drop. If Man City are not winning, then that could spur Tottenham on to see off Brum, whilst Man City going a couple of goals up could have the opposite effect. I expect Brum to lose but survive and Blackpool and Wigan to go down.... other game a draw I think, but thats hardly putting my neck on the line.

great post. making me wish [again] that I had nothing else to do tomorrow.... That aside...

I'm hoping... to miss and avoid all media mediums and at the same time hope that BBC MOTD will play the highlights in, as best as possibly they can, real time, as it happened.

It's either that or a DeLorean.
Nice one Ollie. Love the 81 possible scenarios ;)
