Spurs hope Griezmann can become their ‘new Bale’

by Up Front

Reports today have linked Tottenham Hotspur with a move for French international Antoine Griezmann.

The 23-year-old attacker impressed at the World Cup and it could take as much as £25 million to pry him away from La Liga club Real Sociedad.

However, The Telegraph suggests that Hugo Lloris could be tasked with tempting Griezmann to White Hart Lane, despite interest from Chelsea and Monaco.

The Times, The Daily Mail and The Mirror are also carrying the story.
