SPL Transfer Round Up (Part 1)

It’s been a pretty quiet few weeks in the SPL transfer market but things look like they are now beginning to spring into life. Unlike the English Premier League, there is not much cash swishing about in the game north of the border so glamour signings are likely to be few and far between.

Its all about value for money these days although its not beyond the realm of possibility that new Rangers supremo Craig Whyte might give McCoist some greenbacks to strengthen the squad. One thing for sure is that the forthcoming season is going to be one of great interest for a number of reasons.

How will Ally McCoist handle being top tog at Rangers? Will Neil Lennon win his first championship with Celtic? Can Hearts or Dundee United finally mount a challenge to the Old Firm and how will the rest get on having jettisoned dozens of players onto the dole queue?

The majority of sides have started making changes, although not does not necessarily mean improvements, to their squads as they vie for their own individual interpretation of success next year.  So here is a round up of all the transfers in the SPL thus far. Thanks to STV for the list.
