Saints will improve at the back and in all other areas, so we will then score more and concede less. There is more than enough there about them along with recent signings to hold on to a mid table spot come May.

I think this because they have more than one way of playing and scoring. They are adaptable.

They play flowing football out from the back, but also scored a lot of their goals last season from Route One. They are a good set-piece team and Hooiveld and Fonte grab goals from free-kicks and corners regularly, not to mention the lump-it-to-Lambert variation of their play. With two different and effective game-plans surely Saints will find a way to win enough games to stay up. That’s what I think anyway
