The Twitter account of the Australian national team is the unlikely source for confirmation of the replacement for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
Despite there being an embargo on the news, the Socceroos went early and confirmed that Guus Hiddink will take charge on a temporary basis.
Hiddink managed Australia for the 2006 World Cup as they reached the last 16, and had a previous spell at Stamford Bridge in 2009.
Update: The tweet has now been deleted, presumably because the news was under an embargo until Friday morning UK time.
