The Mirror has reported that Bayern Munich are looking into the possibility of signing Sergio Aguero from Manchester City next summer.
Pep Guardiola has his sights firmly set on the little Argentinian striker and will try to tempt him to Germany in the summer.
Guardiola has been on Aguero’s trail for years and was keen to take him to Barcelona, but he did not have the finances to make it happen when he was at Atletico Madrid.
It even mentions that Guardiola would be willing to swap Robert Lewandowski in exchange for the Argentinean, as soon as the Pole joins on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
A fee of around £40million would be needed to prise Aguero away from the Etihad, but the likelihood of more success on a domestic and European level may tempt the former Atletico Madrid striker to join the German club – especially if City again fail to make a late impact on the Champions League this year.
