Real Madrid’s Pepe donates 5,000kg of food to families

Not long after scoring the winner against Espanyol, Pepe donated money and food to help families in need. A good guy on and off the pitch (but mostly off).

From Marca:

Just one day after scoring Real’s winner over Espanyol, Pepe once again turned hero, although this time off the pitch. The Portuguese defender attended a charity event in Las Rozas (Madrid). He donated money to help the area’s most deprived families with children.

Pepe handed out packages of basic foodstuffs. Thanks to the money donated, 5,000 kilos of food was handed out, with each family receiving two boxes with more than 20 food products.
