Premier League Betting Tips

Arsenal v Wigan

It’s all or nothing for Wigan. They must beat Arsenal. If they don’t, you can bet that it won’t be for want of effort. That’s right, Wigan will try their best to get all three points away from home against an Arsenal team who will be attempting the exact same thing. It all makes for a great open game of football and another goal-fest involving the Latics. That’s why I will be opting for four our more goals on my weekend betting slip.

Aston Villa v Chelsea

I expect Aston Villa to set up to defend in this one. They know the qualities of Chelsea and how much three points would mean to them.  A draw would be a good result for Villa and they probably won’t take too many risks. Right, so that is my prediction on the tactical side of this match, so where does it leave us from a betting perspective? Well there was a couple of bets that  I’ve considered. The first one was Under 2.5 goals at a price of 6/5. That might be the way to go, as even if Chelsea get the breakthrough, they are unlikely to go over the top to add to their tally. Besides, a draw would be decent for the Blues. But at a better price, it may be worth risking no goals being scored in the first half.
