Point taken on Liverpool, and Arsenal will miss RVP, any team would, it is a shame he didn't play more games for the Gunners. Spurs will be better on defense but let's be honest, they will have to be. I think Liverpool way under performed last season and have a lot more talent than shown. I think chelsea's new men will have a harder time bedding in than anywhere else. I am all for hearing other's opinions and sorry if my reply was to argumentative.

Relax lads, its only my opinion as to what will happen.

As regards Reading; even with the signings they have made I genuinely feel they will struggle for goals this season. This plus their lack of Premier League experience within the squad might just make survival a step too far. Again, only my opinion.

Eric: It does look likely that Spurs will lose Modric but the most important thing for Spurs is how they play under AVB.

Arsenal have lost Van Persie so they could struggle this season and as for saying Spurs have only one real striker and then you say Liverpool will finish above them is a bit much unless Suarez finds his shooting boots.

Newcastle are very hard to predict, if they can get Ba and Cisse firing for the full season they could get top 4 but I have my doubts that will happen unless Pardew changes his tactics

How can anyone pick Spurs 4th? losing Modric(most likely) and still have one 'real' striker. Rubbish I say! Arsenal, Newcastle, and Liverpool will finish above Spurs... amazing

Reading will stay up.
7 Players Added
No Influential Players Sold
Gunter & McCleary (1 & 2) in Forest Players of Season
Mariappa - Watford Player of Season
Guthrie - Ask NUFC fans (disappointed is the word)
Adding Shorey & Pog can only help.
Plus we have cash if required

You missed a couple of signings from the West Ham list... Maiga is a striker with pace and an eye for goal who has cheered the faithful in a couple of pre season performances. Also Boukari, a winger in from Rennes, loan with a view to a permanent pre arranged move.
Sam said in interview earlier in the week he was still looking to bring in 3 more... one is the aforementioned French winger. So expect another wide man and a striker.
All in all a busy summer. Would happily take your suggested top end of mid table.

(Reading Fan) Swansea and Norwich were the most likely to go down... Another prediction that just follow like sheep and never learn from history or know how a team plays or works just looks at the stats on the board. Reading have never needed to go out and try and outscore the opposition because we are calm with our play and with a great defence we know we can take as much pressure that they throw at us. Reading are clinical and in the premiership you need that as in some games you need to be able to take your chances. Look at Man U they do it all the time. I love being favourites to go down as history will show it is the ones who were certain to go down is the one who does better. Are you going to do a follow up article when you get proved wrong?

I think you have widely underestimated Reading FC. With 6 new signings and a very hungry squad who worked hard and well as a team last year, Reading will miss out on relegation. The likes of Jason Roberts and Leigerwood and Gorkes through the spine of the team, with the new additions makes for a very interesting and exciting season for the Royals.

The wonderful new owner has big plans for the football club, with the first goal of staying in the league.

Brian McDermott is a fantastic manager, and providing he stays and doesn't leave to take over Ireland, the team will cement themselves in the league for some time to come.

The club have money to spend, and come January, if they are not where they want to be, new additions will be forthcoming however these will be wise and strategic investments.

My estimate will be that they will finish 14th at the end of the season
