No English football player playing today is any good to be called World Class.
Comparison of Gerrard to Ineista based on what they were taught i find is too simplistic, Iniesta has innate talent for the skill set he posses, he has honed this with hard work over the years but Gerrard was not born with it & no amount of training/ hard work is ever going to make him be as good as Iniesta.
Next is which i believe is the single biggest reason (2nd to lack of quality in players) why England has had no final since the last 44 years now is Mental Toughness and Heart, England players and supporters all talk of it but reality is 44 year is long & proven track record to fool everyone with sweet words.
