Manchester Utd target £40million German attacker

by Up Front

Manchester Utd could be in store for a big January transfer window if reports that they want to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus are true.

That’s because David Moyes’ side have been told that they’ll have to fork out a club record £40million to bring the German international to Old Trafford.

As reported by The Mirror, Reus had a £29.4million release clause on his contract but following the acrimonious exit of Mario Gotze to Bayern Munich, that situation is believed to have changed.

United, who sit sixth in the league table, are also targeting Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke, and a deal for around £30million is reported to be ready to be put into action once the winter transfer window commences next week.

24-year-old Reus has twelve goals for the German club this season, and nineteen international caps under his belt.
