The spurs squad hasn’t changed much since last season. If AVB can integrate him onthe squad they should bring him back. Once he returns he’ll likely be too indebt to ever consider leaving.

How comical is it that Modric had a hissy-fit, stamping his feet in the “but I don’t wanna pway for Spurs anymore!” vein and heads off to Madrid only to ride the pine. What a fool, he should have just stayed with Spurs. I lost all respect for Modric after he jumped ship just when Tottenham were getting to heights they’ve never really been to. Such a shame for Spurs fans – but what’s the old adage? You reap what you sow; You’ve made your bed now you must lie in it; Watch what you wish for. Lulz, Modric.

90% of Spurs fans would not welcome his return. If he was to go to Yanited he would be in his comfort zone again. I hate him for the way he undermined our club but he’s a great little player.

A good summing up of the situation. I’ve seen how good he can be during his time with Spurs so I’m convinced he has the class to make it in any side given time. But maybe this time won’t be forthcoming at Real Madrid.
Can’t see him putting his tail between his legs and returning to WHL but that’s where he would be best suited. He’s not an impact player, he needs to be the mortar holding the bricks of the team together. This means regular playing time.
As you say Abramovic may want him for his mantlepiece – it will be interesting.
