In the aftermath of the Airtricity League’s opening round of matches, we reported that the FAI had failed to even acknowledge it’s flagship competition’s existence on social media. This is in stark contrast to each individual club’s approach to online interactivity with fans, with all clubs having a personal and unique official presence on Twitter.
