Keano warms up for Wembley with a hattrick

Keane GalaxyRobbie Keane helped himself to a first half hattrick as LA Galaxy thumped the Seattle Sounders 4-0 in MLS.

The Irish skipper pounced on a loose ball in the box and netted two penalties for his three goals and he will now head back to this part of the world for the international friendly with England on Wednesday.

The other big news of the game centred around Robbie Rogers who became the league’s first openly gay player when he came on as a substitute in the 77th minute.
