Juventus set to confirm the signing of Miralem Pjanic from Roma

Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Miralem Pjanic is to swap AS Roma for Serie A champions Juventus if a medical goes according to plan.

The 26-year-old is understood to have handed in a transfer request at the Rome giants, such was his desire to make the switch to Juventus.

Pjanic is believed to have had a €38million release clause in his Roma contract and that was activated.

A technically gifted playmaker and deadball specialist, Pjanic would add even more star quality to a Juventus midfield that already includes Paul Pogba, Claudio Marchisio, and Sami Khedira.
