Aqualani another one,
Too much injuries.
But still, i hope they do well.
While the decision about where the out-of-contract England international would spend the rest of his career attracted none of the painstaking debate like that of LeBron James’s decision to move to Miami,
Talk about a non-sequitur, almost no-one reading this will have heard of LeBron James or his transfer excitments. As for Cole/Liverpool, its hard to see any downside for either party. That Cole is willing to up sticks and live life north of the Walford Gap suggests he is still open to a challange. His ball carrying and passing should link well with the likes of Gerrard, Aquilani and of course Torres (who isn't leaving). For Liverpool his mere presence sends a modest but important signal to fans and rivals alike.

It really is a great bit of business by Liverpool when taken at face value. They sold Benayoun, which was a bit of disappointment, but have replaced with, in my opinion, a far superior player....provided he's fit.

And that is the catch. I've seen Liverpool fans say his injuries are being focused on too much, but the fact is that (according to the ever reliable OptaJoe) he only played 10613 minutes out of a possible 23940 (44.3%) since joining Chelsea.

Of course he wasn't always in favour and competition for places was at a premium, but the facts don't lie.

All up though, a fit Joe Cole is an asset to any squad so it's a solid start for Hodgson.
