Jason Puncheon attacks Neil Warnock in Twitter rant

by Charles Pulling

Not content with holding #1 spot in the football-related Gif charts over the weekend for his truly horrific penalty miss versus Spurs, Crystal Palace’s Jason Puncheon took to twitter today to contribute a startling outburst at former manager Neil Warnock.

Warnock, who was Puncheon’s manager whilst the 27 year-old was on loan at QPR, was a guest on Talksport radio where he made certain (And probably fair) comments over Puncheon’s suitability as a penalty taker.

This drew Puncheon’s ire and the midfielder took to twitter  to, among other things, accuse Warnock of being corrupt and a bit of an absentee when it came to standard managerial stuff such as turning up for training.

Puncheon (Or perhaps Puncheon’s solicitor) has deleted the tweets – which to be honest is a pointless endeavor given the screenshot-happy nature of todays media.

Warnock has issued a statement refuting the player’s claims and is apparently considering legal action.
