I agree, he gives so much in both attack and defence. Can’t help but think Tevez will have a massive role to play this season too if he keeps getting picked.

Yaya Toure. He will be the man that decides if City win the league or not ( somewhat exaggerated). The man is a colossus, a string puller, a midfield maestro.

If this man stays fit and well, there is simply no doubt that City will retain the title.

Don’t think he’s been overly impressive in pre-season but he scored today so maybe things are on the up for him. The “right pass” is more of a “safe bet” in which he never tries a killer pass, just makes a lot of short two-yard passes or whatever. This isn’t me being bitter I just don’t think he’s anywhere near as good as he was with us, but hopefully for him he’ll get back to his best.

I agree that maybe you need a new centre-back, not convinced by Lescott and Boyata doesn’t seem to be showing many signs of progress. Hopefully Mancini puts some of the kids out in the cups this season, last season the squads he fielded were too strong.

Agree with most of whats been said, although Nasri’s performances in the last 10 games and the pre season this year have been like the Nasri from his Arsenal days, keeps the ball well, makes he right pass, goes past players with ease.

I don’t agree with Mancini that he need’s more players apart from possibly a centre back, but we need to put some trust in kids, Suarez, Lopez, Rekik, Razak, Boyata all deserve a chance this year and should be given them in the FA/Carling cups & against some lower oppositions where necessary (after CL games etc)
