Hold the BackPage – Manchester Madness
Hold the BackPage returns after a three week break and there’s plenty for Neil, Ger and Willie to discuss including Manchester City’s demolition of rivals United, the League of Ireland run in, and a rather interestingly shaped trophy that’s about to join the womens game.

With Neil back from his trip across the east coast of Australia, the podcast returns just in time for him to wax lyrical over Manchester City’s resounding derby win over United. There isn’t much argument to be had over the outcome of that game but the implications for both sides make for interesting discussion. Part one also looks at Chelsea’s slip up at QPR as well as a good result for Spurs away to Blackburn.
In the second part of the show there’s a look at all things League of Ireland with the possibility of both the Premier Division and First Division titles being decided this weekend. Shamrock Rovers’ exploits in Europe are also touched on alongside a Champions League round before there’s a mention for the new Irish womens league which will involve six teams playing for a rather oddly shaped trophy…

One of the guys on this webcast is such a City hater that when asked if Micah Richards was the best RB in England, he says “No”, and says a couple boys in Spurs academy are better than Richards. Huh???
