Hold the BackPage – Mambo Italiano by bpfootball

This week the lads look back at a busy few days of international football, and in particular Ireland’s weekend win over Macedonia. They also chat about England’s clash with Wales, while Neil gives his thoughts on Australia’s surprise victory over Germany.

Our special guest Adam Digby then joins the pod to discuss a busy opcoming round of matches in Serie A as well as the Azzurri’s latest internationals. Juventus fan and well respected blogger Adam is a regular columnist on BPF with his hugely popular Al Volo segment.

Finally there’s a preview of the returning Premier League as Manchester United look to consolidate their place at the top of the table and a group of teams fight for survival at the bottom. There’s also debate over the character of Mario Balotelli who has again made the headlines for the wrong reasons.

  1. Alan says:

Wales have rubbish young players coming through….Andy King, Aaron Ramsey, Simon Church on top of Gareth Bale. Chris Gunter is a good young player.

If Gary Speed can get the working together as a unit Wales will be a decent side anyone who knows football can see that if they have patience with Gary Speed he will get it right.

    Keith Lemon is right!
